Pacon Corporation's spooling or traverse winding service significantly increases the length of an individual package. It is not uncommon for a spool to contain ten times more material than a roll. Customer benefits include longer run times and fewer roll changes. These advantages increase efficiency and provide a safer manner in which to store narrow width inventory.

Spool configurations range from widths of 1/32" to 2". Spool faces are as wide as 16" and O.D.'s are as large as 16". Lay-down patterns include side-by-side, overlap, concave, and convex. Almost any pattern is available.

Materials converted include nearly all films, papers, foils, laminates, composites, pressure sensitives, exposed adhesives, silicone coated substrates, fabrics, and non-wovens.
